Bentonville, Arkansas
Downtown Bentonville Residence
A light-filled, feminine retreat thoughtfully designed as a fresh beginning—layered with color, comfort, and a renewed sense of home.
The Direction
The Vision
The goal was to transform the home into a feminine oasis—uplifting, inviting, and full of personality. We wanted the interiors to feel cheerful and comforting without sacrificing sophistication. As a grandmother who loves entertaining family, especially her grandchildren, the design needed to support connection and gathering just as much as beauty. The direction leaned cottage-inspired with colorful accents, layered textures, and cozy moments throughout—creating a home that feels optimistic, welcoming, and entirely her own.

How It Came Together
The Process
The transformation began with a full refresh of the home's foundational elements. Fresh paint immediately brightened the interiors, creating a softer and more cohesive backdrop throughout the space. Existing kitchen cabinetry was updated with new hardware, giving the kitchen an elevated feel without requiring a full renovation. Lighting was thoughtfully replaced to enhance both ambiance and function, helping each room feel warmer and more inviting. Furnishings were updated throughout the home—some newly sourced, others carefully reupholstered and reimagined—to create a layered, collected aesthetic that felt personal rather than staged. Wallpaper was introduced in key moments throughout the home, adding charm, movement, and visual softness. One of the most meaningful additions was the screened porch, which extended the living space and created another comfortable area for gathering and entertaining. As with all of our projects, the process relied on collaboration with trusted vendors and trades to ensure every detail was executed seamlessly and thoughtfully.

Our goal with every project is simple: create a space that feels like you, supports the way you live, and welcomes you home at the end of the day. Seeing clients settle into a space that finally feels right will always be the best part of this work.
“Filled with color, comfort, and thoughtful detail, the home now reflects not only the client's aesthetic, but also a meaningful new chapter of life—one centered around family, healing, and home.”
