The Vision
The goal was to create a home that felt both elevated and effortless—blending the client's love of sparkle and glam with a more grounded California casual aesthetic. The direction leaned into warm neutrals and layered textures, allowing moments of shine and refinement to feel intentional rather than overwhelming. Equally important was designing with accessibility in mind—ensuring that the home not only looked beautiful, but functioned seamlessly and comfortably for everyday living.
How It Came Together
The Process
We began by reworking the primary bedroom and bathroom to improve flow and accessibility, allowing for greater ease of movement without compromising the overall aesthetic. These adjustments were thoughtfully integrated so the design remained cohesive throughout the home. From there, the project evolved into a full refurnishing. Each piece was carefully selected to balance comfort, scale, and visual softness—creating an environment that feels welcoming while still refined. Lighting was updated in key areas to enhance both function and ambiance, adding depth and warmth throughout. Layering played a central role in the design. Art, florals, pillows, throws, drinkware, and decorative accessories were all thoughtfully curated—creating a home that feels complete at every level. Despite the distance, the project was largely designed from Arkansas, with an initial measure-and-assess visit and a final installation trip to bring every detail across the finish line.

What began as a partially updated home is now a cohesive, fully layered environment—designed not only to reflect the client's personal style, but to support the way they live each day.
